The A Series includes seven models, from A45 to A150, with sizing based on rail head width (mm).
Light-duty models (A45, A55): Typically produced in 50Mn steel, suitable for cranes with light to medium loads.
Heavy-duty models (A65–A150): Manufactured from U71Mn manganese steel, offering superior strength, wear resistance, and durability under high-frequency, heavy-load operations.
All A Series crane rails are manufactured through hot rolling processes, ensuring uniform internal structure and precise geometry. Standard lengths range from 6–12 meters, but can be customized upon request.
Optional processing and surface treatments include:
Cutting & drilling
Welding & end preparation
Painting or galvanization
Sandblasting for extended corrosion protection
These treatments make A Series rails suitable for use in harsh industrial environments such as steel plants, ports, cement factories, and heavy machinery workshops.
The A Series crane rails are widely used in:
Port and dockside crane systems
Steel plants and heavy industry facilities
Gantry crane tracks in warehouses and yards
Ground-mounted crane rail systems
For installation, A Series rails are usually fixed to concrete foundations or steel beams with specialized rail clips. Rubber pads can be applied to reduce vibration, improve stability, and extend rail life.
Crain Rail also supplies rail clips, pads, and fastening systems compatible with the A Series, providing a complete solution for crane track projects.
