CR Series Crane Rails

The CR Series crane rails are specially designed for heavy-duty crane operations where strength, precision, and long service life are critical. With their robust geometry and superior steel grades, CR Series rails are ideal for container terminals, steel plants, shipyards, and large-scale industrial projects. These rails are engineered to handle extreme wheel loads and continuous high-frequency operations without compromising on stability or performance.

Material

Both CR73 and MRS87B / CR175 are produced using U71Mn high-strength manganese steel, known for its excellent toughness, wear resistance, and ability to withstand high wheel pressures. This makes the CR Series particularly well-suited for port cranes, gantry systems, and continuous-duty heavy lifting operations.

Manufacturing

CR Series rails are manufactured using hot rolling processes to ensure precise dimensions and structural uniformity. They can be supplied in customized lengths (typically 6–12m) and are available with machining options such as:

Cutting & drilling

Welding and end shaping

Surface treatments (painting, galvanization, sandblasting)

These treatments extend the rail’s service life, especially in marine or corrosive environments such as ports and shipyards.

Applications

The CR Series is widely used in:

Container terminals and dockside crane systems

Shipbuilding and steel manufacturing plants

Heavy-duty gantry crane tracks

Specialized industrial lifting systems

Installation is typically done on steel beams or reinforced concrete bases using high-strength rail clips and pads to ensure stability, reduce vibration, and maximize rail longevity.
