S Series Crane Rails

The S Series crane rails are light to medium-weight rail profiles widely used in mining operations, industrial workshops, crane runways, and light railway applications. Thanks to their simple geometry, balanced weight-to-strength ratio, and ease of installation, the S Series has become one of the most commonly adopted rail types across global industries. Available in multiple models — S10, S12, S14, S18, S20, S24, S30, S49 (49E1), and S60 (60E1) — this series covers a broad range of load requirements, from small-scale material handling systems to heavy-duty crane tracks in ports and steel plants.

Material

The S Series rails are produced using Q235 carbon steel for lighter profiles (S10–S14) and U71Mn manganese steel for heavier profiles (S18–S60). This ensures cost-efficiency for light-duty use while providing high strength and wear resistance for demanding crane and railway systems.

Manufacturing

All S Series rails are manufactured through precision hot-rolling, ensuring consistent dimensions and high structural integrity. Rails can be supplied in standard lengths (6–12m) with optional machining services:

Cutting & drilling

Welding and end processing

Surface finishing (galvanization, painting, sandblasting)

Applications

The S Series is highly versatile and widely used in:

Underground mining and light railway tracks

Overhead and gantry crane runways

Port terminals and heavy machinery workshops

Construction and material handling projects

Installation is straightforward, typically using rail clips, rubber pads, and base plates to ensure safe, stable, and long-term performance.
